I just want to do great hair.

It took me awhile to come around on the reality TV phenomena. I was a huge fan of MTV's Real World when it was in New York (the first time kids. I was there for the Julie and Kevin fight) but by the time it hit LA I lost interest. Survivor has been around for five years but I never saw an episode until 7 months ago. Queer Eye? Nope. The Apprentice? Haven't seen a second of it. Bachelor/Bachelorette? What the hell is a flower ceremony? Blow Out? I want more. I don't want to miss a thing that Jonathan Anton says. I am fascinated by this guy and how far away from reality this guy is. I know that he doesn't realise how crazy he really is. He is hair!

Aside from my strange intrest in a show about a hair salon is my current obsession with Tommy Hilfiger's God complex. I watch the first 50 minutes giddy with anticipation for the "style forum" and Tommy's "final judgement". Where does this guy come up with this crap. I don't know but I can't look away. What on Earth is wrong with me?

I need help.

A new job, a new look, a new blog.

I have been a away from the blog for a long time I know. It has been over a month since I have even thought much about posting at all. I have been focusing on other things...

I started a photoblog. It has been fun taking and choosing pictures for this thing. I have big plans for the template in the future but I haven't had the time for that. I've been too busy going for walks with my wife and my camera.

I got a new job yesterday. I quit my current job today. I am very excited.

I haven't been reading much. Somehow I simply hit a wall. I have been reading blogs and magazines but I've taken a few weeks off on my fifty books in a year quest. I think I got a bit discouraged by the fact that I am way off the pace. I was reading some George Will baseball essays from his book Bunts but stopped halfway through. That was a few weeks ago. Monday I picked up Reading Lolita in Tehran which has been fantastic!

I saw a few movies. Closer was disappointing. Revenge of the Sith did not disappoint (though after episodes I and II I wasn't expecting much.) Mr. & Mrs. Smith was funny and entertaining.

All in all things are going well. I plan on spending more time writing so I will try to post much more often. . . . We'll see.
