The Wife and I celebrate our three year wedding anniversary today. Three wonderful years of wedded bliss. More ggod than bad and really what more could you ask for. We have known each other close to ten years and still just have a good time being with each other. She still makes me laugh. In short I am a very lucky man and every year on the first of September I can sit back and reflect on how very lucky I am. Especially this year when there is so much pain and tragedy in this country. Give. Please Give. If you are lucky enough to be reading this you probably have a roof over your head and food to put in your belly tonight. There a thousands who don't. Give to them. Whatever you can spare, a little or a lot. Whatever you can afford GIVE!!!!!!!!

I'm Back... Back in a New York Groove

Hey folks it has been too long. The list of things that have changed for me since my last post is too long to get into. New job, New digs, New car just overall new stuff! Big changes.

Through some intense research I have concluded that three bowls of soup for me, is about 5 years worth of soup. I am just not a soup person and you can't change my mind. There I've said it and I feel better for it.

I read The Ha-Ha by Dave King and really liked it. I read Atonement by Ian McEwan and was extremely impressed. I am reading Lolita (part of my 'classics that I've missed' project) and am absolutely, and completely blown away by the beauty of his prose while being slightly disturbed by its content which is exactly the point right. Genius.

I was taking pictures every day but haven't in about a month. Computer issues have prevented me from taking the digital camera out that much.

I am sick to my stomach by the fact that the gas at the local station is going for 3.23 a gallon. That's the regular folks, Not the good stuff.

I am sure that I have seen a bunch of movies since I posted last but I'll be damned if I could remember one of them right now. Ah well.

Whew, I am wiped out. This blogging thing can take a lot out of you when your endurance is lost. Til next time.
